And this summer, I was able to create these dairy-free taro mochi ice cream using ’s Taro Milk Powder. I tried Mochi Ice-Cream for the first time in Hawaii 15 years ago! Our favorite place to buy Mochi Ice Cream is from Foodland where they have a frozen deli counter with over 15 different flavours of Mochi Ice Cream balls! It’s like going to Disneyland, but better! Over the years, and having consumed my weight in Mochi Ice Cream, I can honestly say that my favorite flavour is Taro, followed closely by Lychee. They come in a multitude of flavors including traditional flavours like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, but also more exotic flavours like mango, green tea, lychee, coconut, pistachio, raspberry, and more. It’s a small, round, dumpling like frozen treat made with a soft and chewy Mochi snow skin-like shell surrounding an ice cream filling. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend! Mochi ice cream is a cold and delicious confection from Japan. And one of my favorite ice cream treats is dairy-free Taro Mochi Ice Cream! And what makes them even better is, they’re 100% gluten-free! In my books, that’s a win on all fronts! will not assume any liability shall the product(s) melt, stick together, and/or not retain its original shape.With this insane early summer heat, all I can bring myself to make is ice cream. A helpful tip is to let the product cool down to room temperature for 2 hours before consuming it. Transit during the summer time might melt the chocolate however it does not affect the edibility of the products.
